My love language has always been quality time — something that I believe is the greatest gift I share with my couples. In addition to being there for you along the journey of planning your wedding day, from supporting the creation of a wedding timeline that ensures we capture the photos of your dreams to scouting locations that create beautiful backdrops, to creating moments for you two to genuinely connect on your wedding day with all cameras tucked away, one of my favorite parts of the client experience is the quality time we spend leading up to your wedding day.
When Kira & Will’s wedding day was coming up quickly, they invited me over for an afternoon of quartertone coffee (Will’s small-batch coffee roastery), cuddling with their cats, and a walk around the magic neighborhood they call home. In addition to using this time together to take some engagement photographs and get these two cozy and comfortable in front of the camera (and even practiced their first dance!), we also dove deeper into the nitty-gritty of their wedding day, resolving outstanding questions, and getting excited about all the details they had been pulling together — from Kira’s vintage wedding dress, to guest souvenirs that included one of Kira’s incredible homemade candles.
Spending the day together doing all the things Kira & Will enjoy on a typical day at home together, with documentation of everyday memories, made our time together feel extra tender. I’m always happy to play witness to your everyday life and see the magic in it all. Or, if you’d rather take a break from the real world — let’s adventure!
