Margot + Dylan in Love Forever
They say rain is good luck on your wedding day, and in Margot + Dylan’s case, it made for a stunning sunset — and also experiencing their closest family and friends cozied up in Dylan’s childhood home while the thunder passed.
My connection with Margot + Dylan started well before their engagement or before their story began: our paths gently crossing in Boston, Massachusetts with tender threads hanging in the universe, until the moment we all sat down in December 2021, and we decided I’d be their biggest cheerleader + tender collaborator on their wedding day.
In the coming months, we’d cheer on each others small (and big) victories, offer tender reminders in tough times, and spend a beautiful morning roadtripping to Crane Beach to walk along the shore and through the dunes, getting excited together about their wedding which was only a few weeks away. Details were discussed, secret photos of Margot’s dress shared, and playlists were discussed.
Arriving at Dylan’s childhood home in Richmond, Vermont several weeks later instantly felt like showing up at the home of an old and dear friend. Hugs, tears, and squeals of delight were shared in the tender hours of getting ready. Margot’s first look with her father will always pull on my heartstrings, while Dylan’s face as Margot approached the alter will warm my heart on even the coldest day (these two saved their first look for the altar — one of my favorite traditions to embrace!).
